I picked up this book because it had such beautiful art and the story seemed interesting. Well, I picked right. The only thing is that the plot sort of confused me and I had to re-read over some parts, otherwise, a great manga.

The second volume of the manhwa, "Boy Princess," by Seyoung Kim, picks up quickly where volume one left off. Prince Nicole's sister, Elena, has returned from running away to be with a stable hand. She has discovered that the man she thought she loved did not think the same of her; as such, she takes Nicole's place as the wife of Prince Jed. Meanwhile, a lot of political plots are spun behind the backs of the main players of this story. A king looks to take a new queen. Princesses and Princes dance together, back and forth, their tongues like daggers and poison upon their lips. If this were better translated, and if the motions of the characters were better drawn (the action in these volumes is hard to follow), I think "Boy Princess" could be a very good manhwa. The story is there, the characters are interesting... unfortunately, the execution is just not good. Too many of the characters suffer from 'same face' syndrome, meaning that they look exactly the same. Where this manhwa in color, perhaps it would be easier to tell the characters apart, but as is, it is nearly impossible.
