Lorelei Michaels is a vocalist of a female rock band. Her friend Dane give her a Viking armband to wear during one of her performances. Once she puts the armband on she travels back a 1000 years. Erik Thorolfson rescues her from a slave trader. He buys her as his own slave. Of course Lorelei is not to happy about this and fights him all the way. However Erik is such a sweet guy. He can be forceful but he is more concerned about Lorelei's well being. This story was funny and very sensual. I feel the ending was a little rushed but the book is still a keeper for me.

This is technically erotica, but I'm not going to warn you away from this review, because, while the sex scenes are explicitly written in this book, they are fairly scarce and entirely vanilla. This book is rally a good romance with a bit more explicit language around the sex scenes. There's nothing remotely shocking about them. The story, however, is really very good! It's a time travel story featuring a female rock singer going back to Viking times. The character development was well done, and sex wasn't even mentioned until past the mid-point of the book. I was surprised, and very entertained. The only thing I disliked about the story was the the heroine was a virgin. It seemed too implausible that a mid-twenties mega-star was still a virgin.
