Review # 1 was written on 2012-06-25 00:00:00 Lawrence Mozingo When we put Louie to sleep, my vet recommended this book. It's a collection of stories, where cat's spirits come back to say goodbye to their owners. It was comforting to read, but it's definitely bitter-sweet. I miss my Louie so much, & I wish he would visit me. There is such an empty feeling now that he's gone, but I know his spirit still exists. I can't wait for him to visit in my dreams.

Review # 2 was written on 2013-05-24 00:00:00 Robin Lasater A comforting book to read, especially if you have lost a beloved pet. While reading the stories, I laughed and I cried, and I reminisced. And I was comforted knowing that my cats survived death. My cats came to me in dreams to say goodbye, but I recently experienced an encounter while I was awake. I had a cat named Chloe that my sister later adopted. When Chloe died of cancer at age 13, I worried if she knew that she had had two moms. Shortly after she died, I had insomnia and was up at night, when I heard a disembodied Meow which couldn't be explained by my own cats. One of my cats was awakened by the Meow and went to explore. I called my sister the next day, and she had also heard a Meow overnight, and she had no remaining cats. I believe it was Chloe saying goodbye to both of her moms, and she put my worries to rest!
