Review # 1 was written on 2018-08-09 00:00:00 KHALIL MAHDI Unfortunately, it's out of date for my needs, as I'm off to Berlin at the time of writing this review. The info on shopping & eating is therefore not the most reliable, and lacking in websites. Therefore, it can be no more than a supplement to more recent books about the city. That said, it's still entirely worth having, specifically for the detailed maps of each neighbourhood, which never fail to be useful.

Review # 2 was written on 2009-03-18 00:00:00 Tanya McAllister What a handy little book! More than a map, this small book easily slips into a purse or fanny pack and is cleverly arranged so that the city is divided into six or so sections, each with its own sturdy fold-out map and guide. There are easy-to-read notes on notable sights, restaurants, and places to go for each section. Although I had several small guidebooks and tourist info maps with me during a four-day stay in Berlin, this was the one I ended up using almost exclusively. I'll definitely be on the lookout for more Knopf Mapguides for other cities I visit.
