Review # 1 was written on 2017-08-15 00:00:00 Julius Phillips Not interesting at all. I quit just after a couple of pages. Lousy font choice also makes it painful to read.

Review # 2 was written on 2014-02-24 00:00:00 James Simmons Jr I genuinely enjoy the schmaltzy romantic charm of the regular True Story, Swear to God series. Although this book isn't up to the same level, it's still pretty damn funny and worthwhile in its own right. Each page is a humorous or emotional strip, complete unto itself. The jokes are mixed, but the funny ones are extremely funny and I felt that enough jokes worked to make the relatively slight cover price justifiable. I laughed out loud when Tom and Lili were talking about their anxiety over the release of the favorite character's movie franchise - Harry Potter for Lili and Spider-Man for Tom. Some of the heart-tuggers are powerful, particularly some of the pages dealing with Tom's dad.
