This A to Z alphabet book using the letters to show and explain different things that are common in the Southwestern area of the United States. There is a pronunciation guide in the back of the book for the Spanish and Native American words that were used throughout the book.

I didn't love the pictures or layout of this book. Each page seemed busy and unorganized. The text was split up into voice boxes so it was more difficult to follow. That being said, this book teaches some great concepts about money in a fun way. This book would be valuable for children to read and for parents to read with their children to teach them about smart money habits. It talks about working, saving, bargain shopping, debt, investing, profit, donations, budgeting, and banking. Sometimes we think that children will just pick up on money management, but parents ought to give them more direction. Of course parents shouldn't over-control their children's money, but they would be wise to oversee it and teach them principles that will help them manage it wisely in the future. This book provides a great opportunity for children and parents to start that conversation.
