Review # 1 was written on 2016-01-25 00:00:00 Maria Kambis Interesting book with some great lessons, case histories and strategies for senior and high profile leaders (written mainly from CEO perspective but also relevant to senior functional leaders) who find their careers derailed unexpectedly. The importance of taking time, having a considered strategy, including whether to fight or flight, relying on support networks and rediscovering one's "heroic mission" are covered. Having worked with a number of high profile people who have been in this situation, the book has been a great consolidation of learning and experience. PB |
