Review # 1 was written on 2013-08-11 00:00:00 Adam Rivera Shand-Tucci has written a necessary, even essential book, but its eccentric idiosyncratic style gets in the way of an important story.

Review # 2 was written on 2010-07-08 00:00:00 Cathy Wiggins Since I have been to Venice a number of times, I enjoyed this book. The bits of history woven into it are just right for me, and there are plenty of photos.
