Review # 1 was written on 2017-10-02 00:00:00 Kyle Schwab This was a wonderful story. It was light-hearted enough to read through the tough stuff, yet it got the point across. The world needs more people like Fred and the entire community that sheltered him. Thank you for sharing your story.

Review # 2 was written on 2014-01-24 00:00:00 Matthew Sager The author's story would make an amazing fictional story except that it is true. Shot down during WW2 he survived on his own in the jungle and then spent time working with the Coast Watchers before being rescued. He never forgot the help he was provided by the natives and later in life he worked diligently on their behalf.
