I just bought this book. I only looked at a couple of pages in a gift shop and then I just had to have it. I love it!

This book is true perfection. The photography alone is eloquent enough to tell any story, but the additional text is enchanting. It is both informative and poetic. When considering the quicksilver nature of a photograph, it's always amazing to me how much of a story can be contained in just that moment. Even in a sitting, you are talking about a very fleeting experience. So many of these pictures say so much--from the more glamorous and just lovely photos to the ones that tell a story in facial lines and sadness in the eyes, pride in the way the head is held or the way the hands are expressing music or poetry or just feeling--it's a bible of information. Highly recommend.
