Review # 1 was written on 2014-09-24 00:00:00 Thomas Knisel This is great for a first step in trying to teach your children what money is and what it is used for. i would recommend first grade to second grade as to when your child might need this book. Overall have clear and easy to follow reading not the biggest page turner in the wold but good content for information.

Review # 2 was written on 2008-02-07 00:00:00 Kirsten Pakes The book, Dollars, tells us all about dollar bills. Each page contains a fact along with a picture to demonstrate the fact. For example, one page states that a dollar bill equals one hundred pennies. The picture shows one $1 bill along with one hundred pennies. I would definitely use this book when I explain the concept of bills used as currency. At the end of the book, there is a glossary for all of the words the students may not understand, so we would cover those words as we read. Then, I would give the students paper and they would create their own bills.
