Review # 2 was written on 2021-01-11 00:00:00 Riaan Olivier Excellent book for the artist that is wanting to be more expressive in their work. The book is geared more toward the landscape which is what I love. It's not your same old boring art book that discusses all the basics but instead explains how to get that painterly look many of us artist long for. I took many notes throughout the book. If you are getting into plein air painting or even working in the studio this is a great book to help you achieve that beautiful loose painterly look.
