Review # 2 was written on 2013-12-08 00:00:00 Gilles Salmon This is a good book, tho not a great one for a beginner. Mr. Smith's illustrations are not to my taste, but his exercises are complete and thorough. He has four pages on light, four pages on skies, four on flowers, foliage and fields, pages on glass containers, several pages on people and animals, and some on general practices etc. Perhaps when I'm a better painter, I'll return to this book. |
