Review # 1 was written on 2013-01-09 00:00:00 Steve Pimentel This story is by far the most realistic interracial romance novel I have ever read. I literally felt my heart breaking as the story progressed and ended. It spoke volumes to me because it states the inevitable truth that some things (or even some people) we aren't meant to have or be with. Truth be told, I don't think I can ever read Dark and Light again because it made me so sad, but it will forever be in my memory.

Review # 2 was written on 2017-08-29 00:00:00 Charles Hillyer An interesting but ultimately light-weight story that weaves the history of an Orkney island oddity with the world events taking place at the time. Unconvincing characters and serviceable writing make this a page-turner for the wrong reasons, but the premise itself is solid and the intentions seem laudable.
