Review # 1 was written on 2011-08-10 00:00:00 Kwai Hung Yu I thought this book gave some good advice on managing menopause, from natural to hormonal to other techniques. I especially took note of the nutritional things that could be done. I try to avoid medications as much as possible. It's easy to read and understand. Each section had further resources, experts, phone numbers, and/or websites to possibly consult. I think this book is best suited for those who don't have a lot of contact with the OB/GYN, or don't have any close living female relatives who are older and have gone through this, already. |
Review # 2 was written on 2009-05-18 00:00:00 Jason Mccomb This book was a disappointment from the get-go, so I just did a quick brush through looking for some good "home rememdies." An example of one of their "home remedies," Dr. Barbara D. Bartlik, M.D. a psychiatrist in New York, who is also a professor at Cornell, recommends, "experiencing an X-rated evening" with your significant other in order to boost your libido. I could go on, but the other home remedies are just a stupid. |
