Simple text, large print and beautiful photographs combine to present an early reader book on the care of the hamster as a family pet. Photographs of children caring for the animals along with close-ups of hamsters will bring lots of smile to the reader's faces. A simple glossary, supply list and index make this an excellent introduction to non-fiction for the young student. This would be a great addition to the elementary library collection. Review # 2 was written on 2015-11-20 00:00:00 Teresa Fajardo This is a very simple book about hamsters. It will be good for emerging readers who are interested in animals or pets. Cute pitures. I wish it had more text features.
