The book tells of A-Rod's background and why his path to the majors was not the most likely. This book is a good message for young readers that may think living out their dreams is impossible.

I wanted this book to read about baseball and about Alex Rodriguez because I wanted to learn about him and his career because I love baseball. I like this book because it is a biography. I like that it tells me about him as a child and him loving baseball. It talks about him having a tough life and overcomes all the obstacles in his way and becomes a good baseball player. I recommend this book if you like baseball or just want to learn about Alex Rodriguez. I give this book a 3 star.
