Review # 1 was written on 2011-11-07 00:00:00 Eurico Pinto I really enjoyed this book, only for all the good information it contained about Amelia Earhart and her life all the way up to her final flight. I had a really hard time with the way the authors wrote the book. I feel like they added stuff and drew conclusions where there was nothing to draw conclusions from. Parts of the book included what she was thinking or feeling, which obviously nobody knows except her. This book would have been much better had they just told the facts as they were. If you REALLY enjoy learning about Amelia Earhart, I would still recommend this book because of all the great information that it does have. |
Review # 2 was written on 2019-12-14 00:00:00 Jeremy Oleson Most of the book is a very dry recitation of facts. Amelia did this. Amelia flew here. It was only when the author moved into the speculatory areas of the topic that his voice came alive. But now I want to go look at maps. |
