Review # 1 was written on 2015-04-08 00:00:00 Waylon Hiler another really excellent hiking book, each hike has lots of good stats, sometimes history, and often pictures! i also liked the general waterfall/regional primer at the front. i will say it's not for the faint of heart. there aren't a lot of easy hikes, and i can be a bit of a wimp. most of the 'moderate' hikes have an elevation gain of 2000 feet or more. many of the easy hikes are not truly easy-sounding either, but on the other hand, i suspect 'easy' is relative, given the terrain. |
