It can be informative not only to children that are wanting to adopt a puppy, but also informative to adults as well! The book also has real life photographs that show children what the text is referring to. In addition, Ganeri included useful information towards the back of the book, such as a glossary, a page of useful tips and facts about dogs. This was a very well put together book, and I would definitely recommend it to prospective dog owners with young children in their household!
