Review # 1 was written on 2012-10-11 00:00:00 James Lopez I knew that the author was not using "ghostly" in a literal (i.e. actually or possibly haunted) sense, but seriously? These were the most "ghostly" abandoned buildings he could find? Most of them are not even ominous, much less scary. Heck, most of them weren't even atmospheric! Some of them are hardly ruined at all. And the photography is nothing special. I've stumbled across more intriguing abandoned sites by accident. |
Review # 2 was written on 2014-11-11 00:00:00 Laurence Lindeman This is a hauntingly beautiful picture book, (w/ tid-bits of info), of many different places in America that have fallen in ruin or have been forgotten. I spent a good hour engulfed in reading and looking into the masterpiece photos. |
