He owned two plantations and more than 150 slaves. He was the first president never to have held another public office and had little education so his friends helped him write speeches and public documents.

Review # 2 was written on 2015-07-10 00:00:00 Laurence J Esposito I thought this book was good because I like historical fiction. The reading age would probably be 4th grade and up. Theodore Roosevelt was born on October 27, 1858 in New York City, New York by Martha Roosevelt and Theodore Sr. Most of Roosevelt's childhood had asthma but he grew out of it.
