Review # 1 was written on 2016-03-03 00:00:00 Jocy Berklund The homework in the book does not clearly match up with the information provided. They'd go on and on about one thing and then the question was on something not covered or given a proper example for. Then I'd have to take a test on it and it was absolutely terrible and confusing. I have to spend hours online trying to get this homework done doing research on google. What a waste |
Review # 2 was written on 2008-01-20 00:00:00 Rhonda Bender Henry Petroski is a prolific and talented writer, who turns case studies into gripping page turners. I find myself interested in several books lately, and each happens (upon inspection) to have been written by Petroski. This coincidence was spurred when I found Design Paradigms outside an office, and took it home with me. This book must not be passed up by anybody with an interest in design, and is a great starting place for people who want an introduction to a multitude of relatable and informative engineering concepts. I adore this book! |
