Review # 2 was written on 2018-03-01 00:00:00 Carlo Alonso An inspiring autobiography by an outstanding, yet humble scholar. He had a stellar career as a textual critic, Bible translator, seminary professor, and prolific author. While he writes well and shares a lot of interesting experiences, my only disappointment was that he doesn't really include any personal reflections on his spiritual journey, family, and other life lessons that would make this a more well rounded book. Nonetheless, I'm certainly glad he choose to write it. |
