Review # 2 was written on 2014-10-14 00:00:00 Benjamin Ney I love poetry! I think this is was awesome book to read not only during black history month, but for anytime I am teaching about poetry on my class. I love it because if talks about a variety of African American cultures and families. The beauty of the race and the color blends of different families. It is an all around good book. It especially good for younger students because the poems are told from a child's point of view so they can get a better grasp about poetry. Great for any grade level. |
