Review # 1 was written on 2013-10-19 00:00:00 Thomas Goodman This was a brief, cut to the chase, yet fairly interesting book about.....being aware of bears. Even better, it also has useful information about avoiding bears.

Review # 2 was written on 2020-03-27 00:00:00 Phillip Tolbert The routes in this book are well selected. I have the 2019 edition. Some of the drives I have already done on my own, but it gave me a few ideas for some others. I drove one of them today and it was indeed a very scenic drive and doable in a long day trip with lots of stopping for photos, short hikes, checking out the small towns, etc. I do sometimes wish he would tell more stories/history/detail about some of the places along the route, but what you need to get where you're going and finding highlights to stop for, etc., is all there.
