In my navy days, shipmates lined up to devour battered copies of Tobacco Road and God's Little Acre. Of the same ilk, A Country Girl is jam-packed with explicit sex - cover to cover. The author delves into every kind of fantasy imaginable. No wonder the first edition sold out in less than six months. Now I must hide A Country Girl from grandkids, neighbours and from myself and go take a cold shower.
