The story titled, "I Live With an Alien" made me laugh because it certainly feels like my teenage daughter has become an alien - love her to pieces but she frustrates me at this point in her life! Some quotes I loved in the book: "Your child will become what you are; so be what you want them to be." - David Bly p. 90 "There are times when parenthood seems like nothing but feeding the mouth that bites you." -Peter DeVries p. 231

Review # 2 was written on 2020-10-09 00:00:00 Thomas Toppman Nice change of pace. I read this early on in the pandemic when I needed short stories without feeling guilty about not reading an entire book for a few weeks. It helped me get back into the swing of reading after the early stress of the pandemic.
