Review # 1 was written on 2013-06-02 00:00:00 Michael Duke More for the genealogist who wants to travel places to look at historical papers. To find info on their ancestors. Probably really good for those people. It was interesting to see how many ancestral records there are in the Library of Congress, but I wonder why they are not putting that information on line? I'd like to go to the Library of Congress, but it would take a week to learn how to use it, and then months to go thru all the documents of interest to me. Guess I am not a professional. |
Review # 2 was written on 2015-08-31 00:00:00 Therron Woerner Excellent information about different types of maps and how they can be used by genealogists. A little outdated (2004) with regard to online sources and databases, but the basic information is still very useful. |
