Review # 1 was written on 2009-03-19 00:00:00 larrt easterling Read the first twelve chapters, then stop. The first half of this book does a fair job of describing the interpretation of stocks' financial statements. Without trying to make the material entertaining or easy to understand, the author trudges through the lessons one after another. If you're patient, and not easily distracted, it is possible glean some useful information. After that though, the book becomes hard to read. I have no doubt part of my loss of interest in this book had to do with the fact that it was published in 1996 and much of the industry-specific stock information is more than a decade old. Save yourself the time and headache and read some of the investing articles on fool.com or investopedia. |
Review # 2 was written on 2014-02-27 00:00:00 Steven Archuleta Extremely helpful in understanding the stucture, purpose, and use of technicals in understanding the stock market from various perspectives. Useful for understanding the current position and mildly useful for forecasting. |
