Review # 1 was written on 2013-07-06 00:00:00 Renee Franco A fun read. The first 60% or so is history, and is fascinating. The rest is a "tour" of Canada, which had been envious of Montreal. That is until he got to Vancouver and it turns out we're beer nirvana for Canada! :p The writing is a bit uneven at times, but is so chocked full of pithy comments and one-liners it's hard to not love it.

Review # 2 was written on 2013-05-19 00:00:00 Lolatu Geege I really enjoyed the first half of the book when it was focused on the history, but eventually the book felt off trend and hard to follow. The history was very well written but his personal outlooks of modern brewing industry and his travels were dense and less interesting. Would have rated it higher if the editor had cut a good third of the book out entirely.
