Review # 1 was written on 2016-03-10 00:00:00 Donald Walley De visita a LA, Phil Andros dirige-se a um polícia que orienta o trânsito num cruzamento movimentado da cidade para pedir uma informação. Alto e atlético, a farda impecável e justa, deixando perceber mais que cobrindo os seus dotes, o queixo quadrado com covinha, óculos de sol escuros, uma encarnação perfeita do sensual chui "tomfinlandesco", Greg, o polícia é extremamente simpático e paternal! Perturbado, Phil, que sempre teve um fascínio por fardas, decide voltar no dia seguinte ao mesmo local, apesar de ser dia de Natal. E, por sorte, lá está ele, no mesmo cruzamento, a causa da sua noite mal dormida. Phil convida-o para um café e, por sorte, o turno de Greg termina em 10 minutos e, por sorte também, a casa de Greg fica apenas a 2 quarteirões... Segue-se uma tarde de álcool e sexo inesquecíveis, com Phil a descobrir que o seu polícia é um "hétéro machão" para quem todo o sexo é pouco ("homem ou mulher? muito!"). E descobre também que ele mesmo, Phil, apesar de prostituto masculino, gosta de obedecer e de se submeter, e inclusive, se excita masoquisticamente com um pouco de dor. Greg pede transferência para São Francisco, para estar perto de Phil, que decide candidatar-se e é admitido na polícia local, e os dois, em conjunto com um terceiro polícia da mesma esquadra, vão morar para um apartamento onde todo o tipo de aventuras sexuais acontecem... Da série de livros eróticos que Samuel M. Steward escreveu com o pseudónimo Phil Andros para ganhar dinheiro, este será um dos mais pornográficos, com as cenas de sexo a sucederem-se, num catálogo de configurações, fetiches e posições em que o exagero das dimensões e quantidades tem papel de relevo. Apesar disso, a narrativa é bem sustentada num enredo romântico simples e na personagem simpática, descontraída, "cool", amoral e tranquila de Phil Andros, a quem não conseguimos resistir.

Review # 2 was written on 2015-06-05 00:00:00 Eric Soucy Well, this wasn't actually as good as Kreikkalainen naimajuttu, but great nonetheless. If I'm correct, this came first so in a way Andros isn't as ready as he is in the other book. Again the language works nicely and the translation is top notch. The books isn't as fun, which kind of makes the sex driven story arc somewhat lacking. It's basically too serious and even mundane with the whole police fuck group. I really didn't like how Andros was almost in love with Greg and the jealousy concerning Pete just didn't work. Well, it was credible, but I didn't want to see Andros act like a 14-year-old school girl. I did like the police setting and surely it was intriguing. The whole abduction part was plain nasty and somehow I wished Andros would've owned the situation. In a way it was hard to believe that Andros had been a manwhore when he acted the way he did. But, I realize that this may have be his early years in a sense, so it's something I do understand, even if I don't like it all that much. The humor I missed, I wanted more of that wittiness that Kreikkalainen naimajuttu was all about. I just didn't get the margarine thing either - why didn't they use lube or something? Considering that Andros is really strict about hygiene and all (like no spitting in the arsehole etc.). Either way, I like Andros a lot and I love how courageous he is. I wish we'd have more translated into Finnish, since we so need more homo stuff like this.
