Review # 1 was written on 2010-09-22 00:00:00 Victor Toorres Interesting subject matter, but as a layperson reading it, the essays were rather repetitive. My star rating for the section about personal stories: five stars The other three sections: three stars. The need for a change in approach in this critical issue is urgent, but I felt like I was being beaten over the head in every chapter with the same information. Still, I enjoyed reading and learned a lot.

Review # 2 was written on 2013-04-26 00:00:00 Diane Laporte The book was insightfull. It helps the reader understand how biases and prejudice against intersexed people came about. There were also people who love them. It makes the reader see how the human rights violations did not only affect intersexed people.
