Review # 1 was written on 2016-12-02 00:00:00 Jeremy Stewart This book is great for anyone wanting to develop and expand the Young Adult services libraries provide, and I really liked the lists of resources that are included in the book. I have already subscribed to one of the many YA listservs, and I can't wait to see what I learn and can apply to our library's services. I rated this book four out of five stars. I was hoping to find more ideas about library programs for teens, but this book is still a great resource for anyone who advocates for young adult library services. |
Review # 2 was written on 2008-02-08 00:00:00 Warren Harris This was a wonderful professional literature book. It was extremely helpful and practical. It is organized by month, which helps librarians form a feasible plan of action. He include many resources and many lists of useful information. He also included sample booktalks, surveys, letters to teachers, among other things. A must-have for anyone working in youth services. |
