Review # 2 was written on 2014-05-11 00:00:00 Nanette Virden Everyone who works in any administrative leadership capacity within higher education should read this book. It is more than 20 years old and yet all of it still seems highly relevant. If ever I finish my dissertation, I intend to re-read this book with an even more critical eye to see if it needs updating and find someone to update it. Still, the frameworks he describes are still apt and highly useful in analyzing how are higher education institutions see themselves and how they operate (or frankly...mis-operate). |
