Review # 1 was written on 2013-08-17 00:00:00 Deb Batalden This book piqued my interest when I first read the summary, I thought it was going to be pretty interesting but as I read on it wasn't what I expected it to be. I thought there was going to be more action, more depth, more something! It's also a cliffhanger even though it sort of is an sort of isn't. There is an issue at the end that I just can't ignore. I feel like it should be dealt with somehow. I also feel spiteful because of what happened at the end. It was a nice book, it had a few ups and downs but overall it was okay. I liked how Rivers used, I guess you could say more complicated vocabulary. It gets your brain working and you learn new words if you don't know them already.

Review # 2 was written on 2012-10-03 00:00:00 Lolo Lulan This would have been much easier to read if the author had used quotation marks. It was especially distracting/confusing in the chapters written in the first person. It was a quick read, and entertaining. I liked the story and the characters, even if the premise was a little odd. As with the other books in the XYZ series, the author introduced a huge issue near the end of the book, and then didn't spend much time on it. I didn't mind that, but others might.
