Review # 1 was written on 2011-12-28 00:00:00 Joseph Quirk This is the last book in the Haley Andromeda series. I think this book was by far my favourite in the series. Even though all three of these books were about Haley growing up and figuring out who she is as a person, a daughter, a girlfriend, and a friend, the last book is most about this. I also thought it stressed the importance of having a well founded support system in your life. I don't know how Haley always manages to find the people who treat her worst, but Izzy was worse than Jules! I think in this book, Haley was tested the most. She was forced to grow up (about time), and it really made her understand who she is. (Road trips always seem to do that!) I thought this was a great ending to the series because it was very genuine. I really enjoyed reading about Haley for three books. |
Review # 2 was written on 2015-04-07 00:00:00 Andrew Bildwin okay, for starters I didn't realize this was part 3 in a series, I just grabbed it off the shelf at the library because I thought it sounded interesting. to start the book, we were given some background (part of why I didn't think this wasn't a standalone book) and nothing seems to go right for this clumsy teenager with a weird home life. then she goes on a road trip with her suddenly nice "arch-nemesis" who is using her to steal her ex-boyfriend. the best part of this book was the ending. too bad it took like a week to get to it. |
