Review # 1 was written on 2010-04-02 00:00:00 Feg Rfhjgndf What an amazing Cinderella story! Mariah is such an inspiration...there really are some that have been able to 'change the stars.' Love her...loved this portrait of her life...heartbreaking yet encouraging! I was especially touched when she was able to reconnect with her mother. I wish that I could have been able to do that. By the time I found out who my mom was, it was too late...on my! I enjoyed the movie, Glitter, but have to say that the story in this book is a deeper portrait. Thanks to Shapiro, we have this story to share that truthfully, dreams really can come true...(-:

Review # 2 was written on 2020-04-17 00:00:00 Erika Gehman There was some errors throughout the book but I still give it 4 stars because it is probably the best biography of Mariah Carey that is out there right now. Can't wait for her autobiography that's coming out soon.
