Review # 1 was written on 2012-01-12 00:00:00 John Newlend There are many forces around us. This book describe many of the forces around us in a realistic way. It provides information that is easily understood. I would use the vocabulary in the book to draw literacy connections. I would also have students label the different places around school where there is a force acting. I would talk about how it is important that students are able to identify and explain the forces around them. |
Review # 2 was written on 2019-10-19 00:00:00 Benjamin Wallace Perhaps repetition helps the learning process... but, we found it a little repetitive and not all that informative or interesting. A force is a push or a pull. All forces have an equal and opposite force. Gravity is a constant force pulling everything and all of us down. Friction makes things slow down. I hope my kids got it - I don't think I can read it again. |
