Review # 1 was written on 2010-07-21 00:00:00 Tyler Martin What is with cookbooks that don't have pictures of the finished product? I hate that. That's really the only complaint I have, though. The recipes sound gorgeous, and the ingredients make sense. There are a few ingredients that I cocked an eyebrow at. I don't know if the authors were trying to ensure that non-Louisianians would be able to get their hands on ingredients, or what. The desserts could use some work, though. They're definitely not up to par with what I would expect.

Review # 2 was written on 2015-07-15 00:00:00 Jean Johnson I think with the Emeril madness that went on a few years ago, where he was everywhere and shilling everything and all you ever heard was 'Bam!', it's easy to forget why he was so popular: because he can f*cking cook. This book is unpretentious home cooking but also amazing at the same time.
