More of a filler volume, which any long series needs to drive the plot slowly with dropping hints such as "The Conspiracy of 1970?!?" What is that? Sounds ominous? We shall find out next time on Naoki Urasawa's 20th Century Boys!!! Same time, same channel! There was one big plot point dropped about Kiriko at the lab which was a jaw dropper, and whenever they bring in Kenji's music it's always a heartfelt moment. Those were some great highlights of this volume, along with Mon-Chan's note/research.

I am really turned off by my inactivity reading manga and reading in general but i ll try to get my thoughts together and right a review for this volume . with this issue issue i scratched potential friend suspects from my list and they are mon chan and fukubi and donkey because you can always make a strong case that someone who is believed dead to be the one pulling the strings but no i dont think its any of them anymore and ofcourse i scratched Sadakiyoshi last volume I also scratched Kenji i never believed he was dead but now i have other reasons to believe that not only is he alive but he is not friend as well, i feel though based on what i found out that he might have given up the fight or something, probably we are looking at a kenji comeback in the near future. Sadakiyo both victim of friend and a culprit and a murderer i cant really forgive him for killing mon chan. it was nice finally seeing manjoume insho in the 2014 era of the story and see his ugly old face i hope he dies a horrible death. now though we have a new strong suspect of who friend really is and its yamane kun, all the squares tick for him he was kiriko's superior, they made the virus together, he had a fascination about her since he named the fish kiriko, so its probably him but lets see, you never really know for sure in these kinds of stories. now we talk about ESP both kanna and her father are ESP and pretty good ones it seems, its how friend made a mindless cult to follow him and listen to everything he says, and its how kanna trying to effect those around her to listen to her and follow her lead to fight the friendship party, now she really has a chance of changing everything, i just got a thought writing this though could it be that kanna will die and that's why kenji will come back and fight ? about the holy mother a new twist , like the savior who is now dead from the prophecy looks like the friendship party intends to make their dream navigator sadistic bitch the new holy mother for their plans to work. also another thought friend is really old now, could their intention be making a new child of his that will eventually rule the world in his place, since kiriko and kanna are a lost cause for them and they will never fit in their plan? i am sure i could have written more it was a great issue but i am satisfied with these thoughts and questions i written here.
