Review # 2 was written on 2012-10-08 00:00:00 David Whitt While I certainly don't agree with all of Gross's conclusions as a practicing teacher I found his critique of teacher education to be very close to my experiences. Some of his ideas were tested in NCLB and did not create the results everyone hoped for. Other ideas move farther and farther from the mainstream. We need this and other critiques to keep us balanced and continually striving to do better as we educate our children.
