Review # 1 was written on 2012-10-17 00:00:00 Jenny Ryman I think this book has a good goal...but it is tirelessly repetitive, written for people from the dominant culture, and just poorly written (many sections are difficult to read...and then the authors repeat the exact same wording elsewhere in the book). I did not like it much and as far as coaching, I do not believe it provided me with any additional tools I can use to impact positive change in my building.

Review # 2 was written on 2017-12-29 00:00:00 Don Meyers Models of great coaching and practical reminders of what it means to be culturally proficient. This book provides insights and strategies that can be used immediately for fostering more trusting and more effective coaching relationships.
