Review # 1 was written on 2011-05-22 00:00:00 Anna Marie Flores It was a good read and will be good for my students. I really liked how she brought it back to Mills at the end . . . which is the perspective i like to think i teach from - and someday i will be better at consistently thinking with the sociological imagination. Heaven forbid i will be a sociologist yet. |
Review # 2 was written on 2020-11-03 00:00:00 Robert Smith, Jr. A very interesting investigation of obesity. The book makes good points, but stops short of connecting them to established theories. Organization and evidence sometimes feel haphazard. Some (small) claims are not backed up. |
