Review # 1 was written on 2016-10-04 00:00:00 Matthew Shea I have a stack of 30 books I need to read for a children/YA, book award committee. So far, most of the books on that stack have been just 'meh' meaning so-so! I guess this stack of books I am struggling through is suppose to be unique so that it stands out and I have to dig deep into similes, metaphors symbols, color techniques etc . This book is just another book in a series but I thought it was delightful. I though maybe today I am a little sad, or jaded that I can't do a good book review, but this book was a nice breath of fresh air. A simple story about a field trip to the bakery! It was well written, interesting and made me want some bread! I don't LOVE the pictures but they work. |
Review # 2 was written on 2016-10-04 00:00:00 Frank Ryan Interesting, non-fiction, book on how a bakery runs. Very well done. Fun Facts at the end of the book and recommended websites if you want recipes or to learn more about breads. |
