Review # 1 was written on 2021-01-16 00:00:00 Harvey Bates This is a really good, accessible guide to the institutions and processes of british law. I read it to prepare for jury service later in the year and I would have given it 5 stars but it's quite out of date. A lot of paragraphs mention reforms and reviews due to come into effect in the early 2000s. |
Review # 2 was written on 2019-10-31 00:00:00 Mark Greenberg This book was so boring, just because you’re writing non-fiction doesn’t mean you have to write it so dryly, I know that’s not a word but I can’t even muster the effort to explain properly. I’m debating rating it a one-star but it did accomplish its goal and I can’t debate that, it explained the british justice system’s basics. |
