Review # 1 was written on 2009-05-13 00:00:00 JEANETTE Robinson Meh, pretty dry, but I liked the course that went along with this book. |
Review # 2 was written on 2017-02-03 00:00:00 GABRIEL BRANLY From what I read of it--and it wasn't all 700 pages--I really enjoyed this and wish I had had more time to dedicate to a close read of it along with taking notes. Straub addresses sex and race disparities in a way that is not typical of your average white male in the realm of psychology, which was refreshing. I appreciated that he and his colleagues also explained more intricate biomedical concepts accessibly. |
