Good for a general overview, but the amount of errors is ridiculous. Please fix the errors.

A good short treatment of Church history ("Story") and a shorter statement of doctrine ("Philosophy"). 3 stars not because it's bad but because it's basic and predictable. The history section's treatment of the Utah war was interesting (for some reason, that rarely seems to be explained very well) and there were a handful of other observations of interest. The philosophy section is well-written with a handful of quotable bits. Talmage is conservative even when he isn't writing short form stuff for relatively uninformed audiences, so again, not much is real surprising. Short - took less than two hours to read, I think. Worth reading on the theory that repetition is how we learn the gospel.
