Review # 2 was written on 2012-07-04 00:00:00 Jalbert Levesque What a lovely book...and so modern. Written by her sister in the 1920's, this book is a living tribute to the American wife of RLS. She sounds like a perfect partner to him and a brilliant and fascinating woman in her own right. I learned so much about both her and the great man and now long to visit Samoa to visit their grave. A very fascinating life and well and tenderly written with much scholarship besides. An important addition to the story of their lives!
