Review # 1 was written on 2008-07-07 00:00:00 Todd Mozingo So this book is pretty old--I think the "newest" facts it offers are from the early 80's--but it was still a cool read. It offers some great beginning Pidgin, but most of the facts do focus on the island of Oahu. Plus I got it at a used book store, TinCan Man, for like $6! Can't beat that! |
Review # 2 was written on 2008-10-23 00:00:00 Mark Tito Loved "Graffiti" about a guy who goofs on George Eliot to see whether a blind woman can tell what he's up to. One of the few really good stories to appear in The New Yorker. The rest of the collection Remote Feed is disjointed, but that one story is worth the price of the book. |
